Canine Circus 2026

Judge's decision is final

The judge's decisions on all classes and placements are final.

Dogs must be healthy and fit to participate

Dogs should be in good physical condition and well enough to take part safely. Do not enter dogs showing signs of illness, lameness, discomfort, or other conditions that could affect their wellbeing or that of others.

No female dogs in season

Female dogs in season must not be entered or present in the show ring areas.

All dogs under control at all times

Dogs must be kept on a secure lead and under the control of their handler at all times while on the showgrounds. Dogs that are reactive or aggressive towards people or other dogs should not be entered and may be asked to leave if any concerning behaviour is observed.

Handler and dog wellbeing

Both dogs and their handlers should be enjoying the show. Harsh handling, causing stress, fear, or discomfort to the dog, will not be tolerated and the handler may be asked to leave. This is always done in the interest of the dog's welfare, to prevent harm and ensure the experience remains safe and positive.

Clean up after your dog

Exhibitors are responsible for clearing up after their dogs and disposing of waste in the bins provided.

Respectful behaviour expected

This is a family-friendly event. Abuse, harassment, foul language, or behaviour that disturbs others will not be tolerated.

No buying, selling or trading of animals

Dogs and other animals must not be offered for sale, trade, or transfer on site.

Owner responsibility for wellbeing

The organisers will endeavour to run a safe event and may cancel or pause the show at short notice if adverse weather or unsafe conditions arise. Dogs must not be left unattended in vehicles and should have access to water and shade at all times.

Veterinary support

A qualified veterinarian will be on site to provide assistance if required.

Photography and media consent

By entering the show, owners consent to their dogs and themselves being photographed or filmed for promotional, social media, or press purposes.

Children supervision

Children attending the show must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

No liability for loss or injury

Brailes Village Show and its volunteers, hosts, officials, sponsors, and associated organisations accept no responsibility for injury, loss, damage or illness to any person, dog, or property, however caused. Owners and handlers participate at their own risk.

Insurance and legal obligations

It is the responsibility of the owner/handler to ensure they have appropriate personal and pet insurance, and to comply with all local legal obligations including dog control orders, public health requirements, and microchipping where applicable.
